[edit] Synopsis
The story begins with a beautiful woman named Karen Maglipot (Jennica Garcia). She is forced by her strict parents to marry Carlos (Marvin Agustin). Karen does not love Carlos and is searching for her true "soulmate". During the wedding, Karen decides to run away from Carlos and her family. Emilene Santos (Chariz Solomon), Karen's best friend, rans away with Karen. Karen and Emilene ended up in Batangas where Karen meets Ruben Domingo (Dennis Trillo), a hard Batangas worker. Karen ends up living with him with the goal to find her true soulmate. Meanwhile, Karen's sister Joanna (Jolina Magdangal) develops a friendly relationship with Carlos. Then, Karen discovers from a fortune teller (Dinky Doo) that Ruben is Karen's soulmate.[2]
